MAXISIQ has an opening for Junior IT Support Specialists who will be responsible for providing superior customer service and are committed to the successful operation of our information technology systems. We are seeking a qualified IT Systems Specialist to work with customers remotely and in person, guiding them through systems configuration and troubleshooting, while aiming to resolve issues with efficiency. Now interviewing for this full-time opportunity located in Quantico, VA and Huntsville Al.

Core Responsibilities

• Helpdesk & Technical Support: Resolve end-user support tickets, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and assist with computer setups.
• Hardware & Software Maintenance: Install, configure, and update workstations, peripherals, and operating systems.
• Network & Infrastructure Support: Monitor local area networks (LAN), Wi-Fi, routers, and switches to maximize system uptime.
• Security & Backups: Enforce basic cybersecurity measures, run data backups, and follow disaster recovery procedures.
• Asset & Vendor Management: Track IT inventory, document system processes, and coordinate with external tech vendors.

Key Requirements

• Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of Windows/Mac/Linux environments, networks, and hardware components.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and fix technical faults quickly, either independently or by escalating complex issues.
• Communication Skills: Strong customer service mindset to assist non-technical staff at all organizational levels.

Qualifications

• Clearance Requirement:  Must have an active or current Top Secret clearance.  Will be required to undergo a CI poly.
• Associates  Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
• 2 years of related  experience
